Terms and Conditions
- Maximum efforts are made to ensure the safety of the participant. However, Adventure Zone, Silversands their management or employees will not be responsible for injuries of any nature, mental or physical, whether caused directly or indirectly due to any adventure sports, OBT or their allied activities.
- Every participant is required to fill a registration form and indemnity bond prior to the commencement of the program.
- Please inform us before registration in case you have any of the following medical conditions:
(a) Heart problem.
(b) Spine problem.
(c) Pregnancy.
(d) Any other chronic ailment. - The fees are fixed for a group consisting of a specific number of participants as per the schedule and administrative/logistic details agreed upon. Any change in these details will entail a revision of the fees. Cancellations are not permitted.
- 100% of the fees are to be paid at the time of booking. Any extra expenses should be paid within 7 days of the program terminating. Any delays in payment will attract interest @ 2% per calendar month or part thereof. We also reserve the right to cancel the program if the payment schedule is not met. In such an event the advance paid will be refunded after deducting any expenses incurred.}
- The program will be confirmed on receipt of the fees and a booking order in writing stating that you wish to participate in the program as per the proposal/schedule.
- By confirming the progarm you also explicitly and automatically.agree to abide by these terms and conditions.
- Any damage, other than that attributable to fair wear and tear, to the tents and equipment by the participants will be billed to you. Our decision on all such matters will be final and binding.
- Please take prior clearance from us if you plan to bring in any facilitators or faculty (internal/external).
- Gambling and the use of alcohol or drugs are prohibited during the entire program, including the journey period.
- Adventure Zone reserves the rights to debar/ withdraw an individual from the program if he/she is found to be behaving in an unsuitable manner. No refunds will be given for such individuals.
- Adventure Zone reserves the right to use any/all photographs/videos taken during the program for publicity.
- Based on safety and weather considerations, Adventure Zone reserves the right to change or alter the program.
- In the event that Adventure Zone has to postpone/delay/curtail/cancel the program for any reason, the fees may be refunded or the activity carried forward. In all these cases, the liability of Adventure Zone is limited only to refunding of the fees on a pro rata basis.
- No refunds will be given for absentees, late arrivals, individuals who cannot participate because they are not dressed as specified in the instructions, or who cannot participate/complete the program for any other reasons.
- Any expenses besides those covered by the fees (medical, etc) will NOT be borne by Adventure Zone.
- Payments should be made by crossed cheque or DD payable in Chennai, in favour of "Maj S.R. Roy".
- All disputes are subject to Chennai jurisdiction.
Instructions for Parasailing
- A standard flight of 5 minutes duration costs Rs 350/= per head,whether solo or tandem.
- The duration of each flight is measured by the airtime and NOT the distance covered on the ground.
- All efforts are made to attain the maximum possible height during the flight. However, NO guarantee is given for the height to be achieved as this depends on a lot of factors like individual weight, wind conditions, etc.
- A launch may be terminated earlier or extended due to safety/ground/weather conditions at the discretion of the flight controller. The decision of the flight controller will be final & binding.
- Fees will be refunded on a pro rata basis in case the flight is terminated earlier. However, extra fees will not be charged for an extended flight.
DRESS CODE FOR THE ACTIVITIES
Men:- Preferably old track-suits, jeans or trouser.
- No shorts or bermudas’.
- Shirts or t-shirts preferably with long sleeves.
- Sneakers or keds or PT shoes. Shoes with flexible rubber soles to provide a good grip, along with
socks. No leather soled shoes, slippers, sandals or bare feet.
- Preferably old track-suits, jeans or salwars.

NOTE:
- Avoid expensive Reeboks and Nikes’ as they tend to get damaged. Bata PT shoes, "Hunter" or "Jungle Boots" from Bata or "Shikari" from Duckback are ideal. Factory shoes with flexible PU soles can also be used.
- There might be a problem with contact lenses. Please carry a set of spectacles as back up.
- Do not wear tight fitting clothes.
- Please do not carry any valuables.
